The Manilva Town Council is carrying out small works in various parts of the municipality, such as Calle Mar, La Barranca and Sabinillas, to prevent incidents ahead of the rains.
The Manilva Town Council has launched a plan for small maintenance works in different areas of the municipality. The tasks, coordinated by the Infrastructure and Works department, aim to correct deficiencies and prevent problems before the arrival of the rains.
The councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Marcos Ruiz, has supervised the activities on Calle Mar and in the vicinity of the Manilva Town Hall. There, repairs are being made to the interior courtyard, clearing of downpipes, dome repairs, and painting work.
These interventions are preventive in nature, as Ruiz himself explained, with the aim of improving the condition of the facilities and avoiding incidents when the rains arrive.
The works extend to other areas of the municipality. In La Barranca, a new 50-metre stretch of sanitation is being executed that did not previously exist in this location.
In Sabinillas, workers are removing graffiti from the promenade. On Calle Juan de la Rosa, part of a pavement that was significantly deteriorated has been repaired, providing a temporary solution until the definitive replacement of the pavement can be undertaken.
The Infrastructure and Works department will continue to work in various parts of the municipality to address maintenance needs as they arise and progressively improve the condition of public spaces.
