The Metropolitan Transport Consortium of the Málaga Area will activate the M-410 line from August 15 to 22 with departures until 2:00 AM. Renfe adds night trains on the C-2 line for returns to Álora.
Residents of Cártama wishing to attend the Málaga Fair 2026 will have a reinforced bus service throughout the festive week. The M-410 line, managed by the Metropolitan Transport Consortium of the Málaga Area, will operate from August 15 to 22 with frequent departures from Ampliación de Cártama and returns from the fairgrounds until the early hours.
The outbound route passes by the Santo Cristo stop and Cártama Estación before reaching the fairgrounds in the capital. The first departure from Ampliación de Cártama will be at 13:30, and from there, there will be services at 15:30, 17:30, 19:10, 21:00, 22:00, 23:00, 00:00, 01:00, and 02:00. The complete journey to the fair takes about 47 minutes.
For the return, the bus leaves from the Málaga Fair with the same frequency. The last return to Cártama is set for 2:47 AM, allowing attendees to enjoy concerts and booths without relying on private cars.
Renfe also joins the special operation with the C-2 line, which connects Málaga with Álora and passes through Cártama. From August 15 to 22, there will be a night train departing from Málaga at 23:40 heading to Álora, as reported by the rail operator.
Additionally, on August 15, 16, 22, and 23, extra trains will run that usually only operate on weekdays. These services will leave Málaga at 5:44 AM, with the return from Álora scheduled for 6:37, aimed at those wanting to rise early or return after the festivities.
The implementation of these reinforcements aims to prevent residents of the Guadalhorce Valley from needing to drive to the fair, also reducing traffic congestion in access to the capital. The complete schedules are already available on the consortium's website and at the stations on the line.
