Manilva Local Police intensifies its summer work: 42 victims of domestic violence protected, 26 scooters seized, and three lives saved with defibrillators.

The Manilva Local Police released its report this Thursday detailing its actions over the past few weeks, a period marked by a population increase that triples the usual number of residents in summer. The official report includes interventions related to public order, road safety, victim protection, and health care.

The mayor of Manilva and head of Citizen Security, Mario Jiménez, has praised the coordinated efforts of the Local Police and the Guardia Civil during the peak months. According to the latest report, officers have acted against violations related to public order disturbances, closing time breaches, and music conditions in establishments.

Reports have also been filed for breaches of municipal ordinances, mainly regarding dog ownership and cleanliness. The council emphasizes that these actions aim to ensure coexistence in a municipality that multiplies its activity during the summer.

One of the priority fronts has been the protection of 42 victims of domestic violence, a continuous follow-up and prevention effort carried out by the officers. The local government has highlighted this task as an essential part of citizen security.

In terms of road safety, the Local Police has removed 26 unapproved electric scooters from circulation, which lacked the necessary documentation. This measure is part of actions to ensure compliance with regulations and reduce risks for drivers and pedestrians.

The report also includes three health interventions where officers, equipped with semi-automatic defibrillation devices (DESA) and in collaboration with health services, helped save the lives of three individuals. The mayor has emphasized the importance of training and the swift response of the personnel.

According to the mayor, enhancing surveillance and response capacity during the summer is a priority for the municipality, which faces a significant increase in population and activity. The intervention report has been disseminated as a summary of a particularly demanding period for the security forces.
