The cosmetics chain Sephora has set up an experiential pop-up at the Muelle de Honor in Puerto Banús, open since early July. It offers makeup touch-ups, temporary tattoos, a photocall, and a contest with prizes.
The beauty brand Sephora has landed in Puerto Banús with a pop-up store that transforms the Muelle de Honor into a paradise for makeup and personal care enthusiasts. The pop-up, open since early July, will remain operational throughout the summer season, providing a free interactive experience for locals and tourists.
A beauty experience at the most exclusive port
The establishment, which opens from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00, allows visitors to discover seasonal products, touch up their makeup, apply a temporary tattoo, or refresh themselves with a mist. Additionally, it features a photocall to capture the moment and a scratch-and-win contest with prizes and surprises.
Attendees receive a 'Beauty Passport' that they must stamp at three key points: the 'touch-up station', the photocall, and the 'charm bar'. Upon completing all stations, they receive a scratch-and-win ticket for access to more surprises. The 'charm bar' is one of the exclusive experiences in Puerto Banús, where products or accessories can be personalised.
Second stop on a summer tour
This pop-up is the second stop on Sephora's summer tour, which began at Port Vell in Barcelona from June 22 to 28. After its stop in Marbella, the experience will continue in Ibiza, at the Ibiza Gallery shopping centre, from July 10 to 25. The brand has noted that the three destinations share "sun, sand, and sea" as key ingredients, and that each offers exclusive experiences tailored to the location.
For residents of Marbella and tourists visiting the Costa del Sol, this initiative presents a unique opportunity to try high-end beauty products in a playful and summery setting. Moreover, the scratch-and-win contest adds an extra incentive for those who come to the port.
A global brand with a local spirit
Sephora, founded in 1969 in the French city of Limoges, employs nearly 50,000 people and operates in 35 markets. Its commitment to pop-up stores in holiday destinations aims to bring its products closer to a diverse audience and create memorable experiences. The Puerto Banús pop-up will be active throughout July, and it is expected to attract hundreds of curious visitors each day.
If you haven't visited the store yet, there's still time: the hours are generous and entry is free. Just remember to bring your 'Beauty Passport' to stamp all the stations and take home a souvenir (and perhaps a prize).
