The Málaga Fair 2026 celebrates this Wednesday, August 19th, with a bullfight in La Malagueta, verdiales in the Centre, and the Nancys Rubias gala at the Municipal Auditorium.
La Malagueta hosts a bullfight featuring Victoriano del Río bulls at 19:00 for the matadors Talavante, Emilio de Justo, and Roca Rey, in one of the central events of Wednesday's programme.
The Historic Centre kicks off its activities at noon with performances at various locations. In the Plaza de la Constitución, Carlos Bravo performs from 13:00 to 16:00, followed by Cantando Bajito from 16:00 to 18:00. The squares of Las Flores, Obispo, and San Pedro Alcántara offer musical entertainment from 15:00 to 18:00.
Marqués de Larios street is the venue for the Fiesta de Verdiales, featuring the Panda Montes de Guadalmedina (Montes style) from 13:00 to 16:00 and the Panda Azahar de Algaidas (Almogía style) from 14:00 to 17:00.
The Malagueño Folk Stage brings together the choirs Guadalmedina, Los Laureles, Sueños Malagueños, and Casa de Álora from 12:00 to 14:00, and from 16:00 to 17:00, the Coro Aire del Sur and Coro Mediterráneo perform.
The Peña Juan Breva, located on Ramón Franquelo street, features flamenco with Alfredo Tejada singing and Antonio de la Luz on guitar at 15:00, followed by the group Bulerías, led by Gema Garcés, at 16:30.
In the Plaza de la Merced, from 12:00 to 15:30, the event La Feria Mágica 'From Earth to Moon. 30th Anniversary' takes place, featuring games, workshops, theatre, puppetry, parades, magic, and music, with companies such as Carrusel Ecológico, Acuario Teatro, La Pili, Vibra Alto, Mago Luigi, La Carpa Teatro, DDQ Kids Eventos, Artrasto, Crystal Zircus, Manolo Supertramp, La Tremenda Compañía, Sésamo Teatro, Tenguerengue, Acuario Musical, Diamante y Rubí, and Alberto Díaz de la Quintana.
At the Real de la Feria, the Horse and Carriage Parade maintains its official route from 12:00 to 20:00. The Municipal Flamenco and Copla Tent features Miguel Astorga singing and Aitor Escobar on guitar at 14:00, along with the group Taranto, led by Rocío Portillo, and at 22:30, it hosts the VII Flamenco Dance Festival of Málaga Schools.
The Equestrian Exhibition Centre, located on Antonio Rodríguez Sánchez street, presents the show 'Galloping Breezes through the Mountains' at 16:00 and 22:00.
The Children's Municipal Tent schedules the show 'Jules Verne's Travels' at 21:30, presented by the Acuario Teatro Company.
The Verdiales Tent celebrates the Malagueña Verdiales Festival with the Panda La Cepa (Montes style) from 22:00 to 01:00 and the Panda El Capitán (Almogía style) from 00:00 to 03:00.
The Municipal Auditorium hosts a showcase of Malagueño and flamenco dances at 21:30, and at 22:00, the grand gala featuring Hoffman and Nancys Rubias.
