The American artist performed at the Starlite festival in Marbella before thousands of people, revisiting his greatest hits in a show of rock and emotion.

The American musician Lenny Kravitz gave a concert on Friday night at the Starlite festival in Marbella that lasted nearly two hours, during which he revisited the greatest hits of his career. The artist, who had not performed in the Málaga city for over a decade, gathered thousands of fans at the Cantera de Nagüeles venue.

The repertoire opened with ‘Bring It On’ and continued with songs like ‘Dig In’, ‘TK421’, ‘Again’, ‘American Woman’, ‘Fly Away’ and ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way’. From the very first notes, much of the audience left their seats to sing and dance to a repertoire that spanned over three decades of musical career.

Kravitz addressed the attendees several times in Spanish.

“I am very happy to be here”
, he stated, before thanking the audience for their affection and reflecting on the importance of love, forgiveness, and enjoying life, words that were met with a long ovation.

One of the most emotional moments of the night occurred when the singer invited Mia, an 11-year-old girl from Mallorca, onto the stage to perform the penultimate song together. After hearing her, Kravitz called her

“the future of rock and roll”
, which sparked one of the biggest ovations of the evening.

The concert concluded with ‘Let Love Rule’, which capped off a performance that left the attendees wanting more. The event in Marbella is part of the artist's European tour and is the second of three dates he will perform this summer in Spain. The next stop will be at the Icónica Sevilla Fest, where he will perform in the coming days.

This concert is part of a tour that began in June in the United States and has visited several European cities. The last time Kravitz performed in Marbella was in 2013, also as part of Starlite, which this year celebrates its thirteenth edition. The festival, which runs until the end of August, has scheduled performances by artists such as Sting, Tom Jones, and Ana Mena in the coming weeks.

For those interested in attending future concerts, the Starlite festival continues its programming at the Cantera de Nagüeles, with tickets available on its official website. The venue opens its doors two hours before each performance, and it is recommended to arrive early due to high parking demand.
