The Alhaurín de la Torre Town Hall has raised its transparency compliance level from 37% to 70.11% after renewing and updating its Transparency and Open Government Portal. The data comes from Dyntra, a platform that evaluates public administrations through a set of external indicators.
With this percentage, the municipality ranks third in the province of Málaga, ninth in Andalucía, and 61st nationally, according to the same source.
The portal now organizes municipal information into sections such as institutional and organizational information, elected officials, personnel, economic-financial information, contracting, citizen participation, urban planning, and grants and subsidies.
The mayor, Joaquín Villanova, had already highlighted the municipal commitment to this path during his participation last week in the Greencities meeting at the Málaga Palace of Fairs and Congresses. Among the improvements implemented is clearer publication of grants, both for calls and their awarding.
The Transparency Portal includes a specific section for Grants and Subsidies with the bases, calls, awards, and the Strategic Grant Plan.
The councillor responsible for the Transparency Platform, José Manuel de Molina, has highlighted the progress made and the work to update information and facilitate its consultation by residents. De Molina has stated that the goal is to continue incorporating content and improving those sections that allow for a gradual increase in compliance with external indicators.
The municipal website identifies the Transparency Platform among the responsibilities of the councillor. The Alhaurín de la Torre Town Hall aims to increase the number of fulfilled indicators and facilitate citizens' access to information about municipal management.
