Three accidents on the A-7 early on Tuesday morning are causing delays of up to ten kilometres between Fuengirola and Torremolinos. The chain collision in Torremolinos, involving at least five vehicles, is causing the most congestion.

Drivers travelling on the A-7 between Fuengirola and Torremolinos have started their Tuesday morning with delays of up to ten kilometres. Three accidents that occurred between kilometres 1.000 and 1.010 have congested the road, according to data provided by the Málaga Traffic Management Centre to Diario Sur.

The first incident occurred around 7:30 AM on the A-7 as it passes through Benalmádena. It was a collision between two vehicles that have already been removed to the shoulder, but it left delays of up to 5.7 kilometres between points 1.000 and 1.005 heading towards Cádiz.

The second accident, which is causing the most complications at 8:40 AM, took place in Torremolinos, at point 1.006 of the A-7 heading towards Barcelona. The DGT reports that it is a chain collision involving at least five vehicles, although 112 states that witnesses have reported that there could be as many as seven cars involved. Civil Guard units have been dispatched to the scene, and according to consulted sources, there are no injuries as no medical personnel have been requested.

This incident, which occurred around 7:50 AM, is causing a delay of nearly eight kilometres because vehicles are still occupying the road, right at the junction with the AP-7.

In addition to these two accidents, a third has occurred on the A-7 near Estepona, at point 1.061, where several vehicles have collided with the median. Civil Guard and medical services have been mobilised to the scene, as 112 has received reports from witnesses indicating that there may be injuries, although their severity is currently unknown.
