The full council of Málaga has initially approved its third budget modification, amounting to €95.7 million. The PP government voted in favour, while PSOE, Vox, and Con Málaga abstained.

With the votes in favour of the governing team, from the Partido Popular, the municipal council has given initial approval to the third budget modification of the City Council, which totals €95.7 million. Of that amount, €42.9 million corresponds to Financially Sustainable Investments.

The groups of Partido Socialista, Vox, and Con Málaga abstained in the vote. The City Council had released the details of the modification in a press release last Tuesday.

The ordinary session began with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the train accident that occurred in the province of Toledo, by agreement of the four municipal groups: PP, PSOE, Vox, and Con Málaga. By that same agreement, the council was limited to procedural matters and no motions were debated.

The motions remain pending and will be addressed in an extraordinary council meeting, the date of which will be set at the next Board of Spokespersons.
