The Mijas Town Hall has made public the list of the 1,600 recipients of the October trip to the coast of Cádiz, following the draw held on Friday in front of 1,912 applications. Payment of the public fee of €6.5 can be made between September 21 and October 1.
The Seniors' Area of the Mijas Town Hall has published the final list of the 1,600 beneficiaries of the trip planned for October to the coast of Cádiz. The councillor in charge, Silvia Marín, has confirmed that the document is now available for consultation after the public draw last Friday allocated the places among the 1,912 accepted applications.
The list is available on the municipal notice board, at the Active Participation Centres of Las Lagunas and Mijas Pueblo, at the Seniors' Centre of La Cala, and in a designated space on the municipal website, at the address mijas.es/portal/eventos/viaje-mayores-2026/.
The beneficiaries must pay the public fee of €6.5 between September 21 and October 1. At the Mijas Pueblo centre, payment can be made on the 21st from 9:00 to 13:30 and from 15:30 to 18:30, and on the 22nd from 9:00 to 13:30. In La Cala, payments can be made on the 21st and 22nd from 9:00 to 13:30.
Las Lagunas, the centre with the most users, has more payment days: on the 23rd and 24th of September from 9:00 to 13:30 and from 16:00 to 19:00; on the 25th, 28th, 29th, and 30th of September from 9:00 to 13:30; and on October 1st at the same times. Payment by bank transfer is also accepted on those dates, and the ticket will be collected at the department once the payment has been verified.
“Beneficiaries who do not make the payment of the public fee within the established period will lose their right to participate in the trip,” warned Marín.
Any vacant places will be filled from the waiting list according to the regulatory bases published on the municipal notice board. The trip will take place in four shifts throughout the upcoming month of October.
