Málaga Provincial Council opens the third edition of the Acceleration and Consolidation Award for Innovative Entrepreneurship Ideas, endowed with 9,000 euros. Applications can be submitted from 2 to 30 September.
Self-employed individuals, professionals, and companies based in Málaga municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants can now apply for the III Acceleration and Consolidation Award for Innovative Entrepreneurship Ideas organised by Málaga Provincial Council. The application period runs from 2 to 30 September, both dates inclusive.
The competition distributes 9,000 euros across two participation categories. In the Acceleration category, the first prize is worth 2,500 euros and the second 2,000. The Consolidation category offers the same amounts: 2,500 euros for the winner and 2,000 for the runner-up.
To compete in the Acceleration category, it is essential to be registered and to prove the start of activity from 1 January 2025, and to maintain the activity at the time of the award's granting. In the Consolidation category, it is required to be registered since 1 January 2023 and to demonstrate uninterrupted activity until the award is presented.
The residency or registered office requirements refer to municipalities in the province of Málaga with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants at the time of the announcement's publication.
The jury will assess the originality, creativity, and innovation of each proposal, the need it addresses, the business model's capacity for growth and internationalisation, its technical, commercial, and economic viability, its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, and the project's impact on the province, with special attention to municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants.
