The Mijas Town Hall has awarded the drafting of fourteen comprehensive street renovation projects in the three districts, access to the hermitage of Puerto, and parking near the racetrack. The total investment amounts to €308,000.
The Infrastructure Department of the Mijas Town Hall has awarded the drafting of fourteen projects for comprehensive street renovations in the three districts of the municipality, as well as improving access to the hermitage of Puerto and creating parking spaces in the racetrack area. The overall budget allocated for these actions amounts to €308,000.
According to the councillor responsible for the area, Juan José Torres, these awards will allow for the drafting of the projects that will subsequently be executed. A total of thirteen streets will be addressed, along with the area surrounding the hermitage and the establishment of parking spaces next to the racetrack.
The roads included in the improvements are San Benjamín, San Braulio, Almería, Granada, Ciprés, Río Odiel, and Río Guadiana in Las Lagunas; Pablo Ruiz Picasso and Segovia in Mijas Pueblo; and Cártama, Cómpeta, Paseo Fuengirola, and Butiplaya in La Cala.
Regarding the improvement of access to the hermitage of Puerto and the rehabilitation of its surroundings, Torres highlighted that the company awarded the drafting of the project is Oluz, for an amount of €29,645. The establishment of parking spaces in the racetrack area will be drafted by Roma Ingenieros Consultores SL for €24,198.90.
In addition to these two companies, the following have also been awarded these projects: Consultora Aragonesa de Ingeniería SA, Ingeniería Atecsur SL, PRYDO Ingenieros Consultores SL, Roma Ingeniería Consultores SL, Idic Consulting Ibergroup, and Narval Ingeniería SA.
