The Marina of Fuengirola will host a special Noche Viva programme this Saturday with local bands and a repertoire of the 80s, starting at 22:30 hours.
The square at the Marina of Fuengirola will transform this Saturday, August 1st, into an open-air stage for the youth of the municipality. The Youth Department has prepared a special programme as part of the Noche Viva initiative, which will kick off at 22:30 hours with performances from several local bands, in an evening that promises to revisit the greatest hits of the 80s.
The proposal was presented by the Councillor for Youth, Isaac Vargas, accompanied by the musical groups participating in this edition. The councillor highlighted that music will be the main focus of the night in this privileged location of the city, with a lineup that includes Sangria Furlow, Nothing Returns, Ocean Apart, Sh*tfits, and Discomfort Zone, as well as Gonzalo, 20Km, The Hideouts, Lamentablemente Tarde, and Camel Blue.
Vargas emphasised that this event represents another leisure alternative for the youth of Fuengirola, framed within a well-established municipal initiative. Noche Viva Fuengirola will once again fill various spaces in the municipality with free activities for all audiences, and the Marina will be one of the spots with the most vibrant nightlife.
“We are launching a new leisure alternative and a space dedicated to our youth within a municipal initiative that is already well established,” Vargas pointed out.
The municipal head of Youth also stressed the promotion of local talent, as this edition aims to give visibility to young musicians from Fuengirola who are starting their careers. Local bands will have the opportunity to showcase their work to an audience that will be able to enjoy live music in a privileged setting.
“With this proposal, we want to give visibility, enhance, and offer new opportunities to young Fuengirola musicians who are beginning their journey in the music world,” the councillor added.
The event, which will take place in the square at the Marina, is part of a broader programme that includes cultural, sports, and leisure activities at various points in the city. Attendees can check the complete programme on the Fuengirola City Council website, where the schedules and locations of each activity are detailed.
This initiative, which has already become a regular summer event in Fuengirola, aims to provide healthy leisure alternatives and encourage youth participation in the cultural life of the municipality. Entry is free and is designed for all audiences, although the programme at the Marina is especially aimed at a younger crowd.
With this new edition, Fuengirola reinforces its commitment to culture and emerging talent, while also energising one of its most emblematic spaces during summer nights. Neighbours and visitors who come to the marina will be able to enjoy a varied offer that combines music, atmosphere, and an incomparable setting.
The Noche Viva Fuengirola programme will be followed from 22:30 hours at the Marina, and it is recommended to arrive early to find a good spot. For more information, interested parties can consult the complete programme on the municipal website.
