The Town Hall of Rincón de la Victoria and the DYAR Association have opened a new edition of the ALMA Andalucía programme, which offers young people in the municipality training, internships in Italy, and job guidance. Places are limited and the registration period will be open until November.
The Youth Area of the Town Hall of Rincón de la Victoria and the DYAR Association have launched a new call for the ALMA Andalucía programme, aimed exclusively at girls aged 18 to 29 residing in the municipality. The initiative is free for participants and includes a daily financial grant during the various stages of the project.
The programme is structured in three phases. The first consists of a preparation period of about three months with intensive training in social and work skills and an Italian course. After that, the young women will travel to Italy for approximately two and a half months, accompanied by a tutor, to undertake real work placements and continue their language learning through immersion. The third phase, lasting around a month, provides support and guidance to integrate the experience into the job market.
The Youth Councillor, Nacho Cuadra, has encouraged young women to take advantage of this opportunity.
“ALMA Andalucía allows participants to train before travelling, learn a new language, undertake real work placements in Italy, and subsequently receive support to facilitate their integration into the job market. It is a very comprehensive experience that can help them gain autonomy, confidence, and new skills.”
The Mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado, has stated that the Town Hall continues to support providing young people with opportunities that allow them to improve their training, gain experience, and broaden their professional horizons.
The director of the DYAR Association, David Azuaga, has assured that ALMA Andalucía offers a complete journey that combines training, language learning, work experience, international mobility, and employment guidance. “The previous edition received a very positive response and allowed its participants to live a transformative experience,” adds Azuaga.
Travel expenses, accommodation in Italy, and scheduled activities are covered. Interested individuals can register through the form provided by the organisation or request information by calling 623 949 232 and via the association's email. The registration period remains open until November and places are limited.
ALMA Andalucía is an initiative of the Andalusian Employment Service, funded by the Ministry of Employment, Business and Self-Employment of the Junta de Andalucía, the European Social Fund, and the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, with the collaboration of the Town Hall of Rincón de la Victoria to promote it among the youth of the municipality.
