Fuengirola will be the venue for the IV National Public Management Meeting, which will be held on October 15 and 16 at the Palacio de la Paz. The event will bring together more than 300 attendees and will cover topics such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, transparency, talent management, and Local Police.
The councillor for Internal Regime, María Hernández, presented the initiative this Friday, organised by Nutco (Nuevos Tiempos Consultores) in collaboration with the City Council of Fuengirola. The meeting comes to the city following editions in Valladolid, Seville, and Lanzarote.
“They have sought cities that prioritise innovation, are mindful of equality, and have women in government. Fuengirola meets all these requirements,” the councillor noted.
During the two days, there will be sessions, discussion panels, and workshops. The programme includes administrative contracting, performance evaluation, professional career, transparency, and open government, as well as a specific space dedicated to Local Police.
The meeting will feature the Deputy Minister of Public Administration and Digital Development, Ana Corredera; the president of the Transparency and Good Governance Council, Concepción Campos; the president of Nutco, Enrique Fernández; and the mayor of Fuengirola, Ana Mula. The president of the Málaga Provincial Council, Francisco Salado, will participate in the closing.
The councillor has thanked Nutco and the municipal workers for their involvement, with special mention to Javier López and the technical and managerial staff of the Human Resources department, as well as the municipal secretary, auditor, and treasurer. She also highlighted the support from the Association of Municipalities of the Costa del Sol, Urbaser, and the Málaga Provincial Council.
The meeting is aimed at public employees and professionals linked to the management of administrations, as well as individuals interested in institutional innovation. Registrations have already surpassed 300 participants.
