Operation in Guadalajara against drug trafficking
The town of Guadalajara has been the scene of a significant police operation carried out by the Civil Guard, which has culminated in the arrest of eight men linked to a criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking.
The investigation came to light when agents began to monitor a warehouse and a rural house in the province, suspecting their involvement in illicit activities. This surveillance led to the discovery of a vehicle in which a hidden compartment contained 55 kilos of cocaine, as well as a truck that held 90 packages of the same substance.
Significant seizures and arrests
After receiving judicial authorization, a search was conducted at the aforementioned rural house, where approximately 2,775 kilos of a white substance were found that, after undergoing a narcotic test, tested positive for cocaine. Additionally, four Kalashnikov assault rifles and eight magazines were seized, along with several mobile devices and three vehicles. In one of these vehicles, agents located 28,000 euros in cash hidden in a false compartment.
The eight detainees were judicially accused of being part of a criminal organization and are charged with distributing large quantities of cocaine to a network of clients both in Spain and in other European countries. After being brought before the court, seven of them were remanded in custody.
This operation has highlighted the collaboration between the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard from the Commands of Madrid and Guadalajara, demonstrating the commitment of law enforcement in the fight against drug trafficking in the country.
