Estepona opens pre-registration for its Sports Schools for the 2026/27 academic year

The Estepona Town Hall has opened the pre-registration period for the Municipal Sports Schools for the 2026/27 academic year. Interested parties can register until August 16, and the draws for the order of registration will be held on September 1.

The Estepona Town Hall has initiated the pre-registration process for the Municipal Sports Schools for the 2026/27 academic year. The period will remain open until August 16, as reported by the councillor assigned to the Sports delegation, Luis Miguel Gil.

Those interested can pre-register for any of the 24 scheduled sports activities, both in Estepona and in the Cancelada district. Classes will take place from September 28, 2026, to June 15, 2027.

To formalise the pre-registration, users must choose groups in order of preference. Up to two preferences can be selected, except for the Multidisciplinary Training and Pilates modalities, where up to three can be chosen.

Once the deadline has passed, a draw will be held on September 1 to determine the order of final registration. The registration period for those who have pre-registered will be from September 3 to 13, and payment will be made online through the website www.reservapista.estepona.es.

The directly managed Municipal Sports Schools include 16 disciplines: Physical Activity for Seniors, Chess, Athletics, Handball, Adapted Sports, Stretching, Football, GAP (Glutes, Abdominals and Legs), Multidisciplinary Training, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Judo, Karate, Multi-sport, Pilates, Psychomotricity, and Step/Fitness. In addition, there are eight indirectly managed disciplines: Badminton, Basketball, Climbing, Fencing, Golf, Padel, Tennis, and Volleyball.

This municipal initiative aims to promote sports practice among the residents of Estepona, offering a wide variety of activities for all ages and levels. Last year, the schools had high participation, and it is expected that this year will maintain or exceed those figures.

The draw on September 1 will be public, and the results will be communicated to pre-registered individuals through the usual channels. The Town Hall recommends keeping an eye on the municipal website to find out the assigned number and the order of registration.
