The Benalmádena Town Hall has paid out aid to businesses affected by the renovation of the Plaza de España and Calle Santo Domingo area. The call for applications, funded with €71,000, was granted to 85% of applicants.

The Benalmádena Town Hall has made effective the payment of subsidies granted to commercial establishments harmed by the renovation works in the Plaza de España and Calle Santo Domingo, in Benalmádena Pueblo.

The aid aims to compensate for the impact that the works have had on the usual commercial activity in the area. The call for applications has a budget of €71,000, which was made available through a credit supplement.

The subsidies have been granted to 85% of the establishments that submitted applications and met the requirements of the call. Half of the beneficiaries receive 100% of the amount requested, while the rest obtain between €3,800 and €9,300, depending on justified expenses and the criteria of the regulatory bases.

According to the Town Hall, the granting of aid complies with the administrative procedure and municipal bases, and only businesses included in the scope of the works can apply.
