Costa Water Park launches its floating water parks on the beaches of Benalmádena, Fuengirola and Marbella, featuring giant slides and trampolines over the Mediterranean. Open from Monday to Sunday, from 11:00 to 20:00, until mid-September.
The Costa Water Park has landed on the Costa del Sol with a proposal that promises to revolutionise summer splashes. It is a floating water park, with inflatable structures anchored offshore, including giant slides, wobbly walkways and trampolines over the sea. The experience is available at five points along the Málaga coast: Bil-Bil Castle beach in Benalmádena, Puerto Banús beach in Marbella, and the beaches of Fuengirola, Carvajal and Los Boliches in Fuengirola.
The hours are from 11:00 to 20:00, Monday to Sunday, weather and sea conditions permitting. The company provides life jackets and has monitors ensuring safety. You don't need to be an expert athlete: fun is within everyone's reach.
Three locations, the same fun
Each location offers the same type of attractions, but the surroundings vary. In Benalmádena, Bil-Bil Castle overlooks the bay; in Marbella, the nautical luxury of Puerto Banús; in Fuengirola, the family-friendly atmosphere of its beaches. The company operates from mid-June to mid-September and has turned these beaches into "true benchmarks of leisure and fun," as highlighted by the organisation.
Visitors can slide down giant slides, alone or with friends, and learn to maintain balance on surfboards. The structures include climbing frames, spinning balls and jumping platforms. For the more daring, the trampoline over the sea is an experience that combines adrenaline and views of the Mediterranean.
Prices and safety rules
The park offers two types of entry. The hourly rate is 20 euros at all locations. For those who want to enjoy without time limits, the day pass costs 35 euros in Fuengirola and Benalmádena, and 40 euros at Puerto Banús beach. Wristbands are purchased at the ticket offices located in front of the park, on the beach itself.
Safety is a priority. The use of life jackets is mandatory and provided by the company. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult, and both must pay for entry. For unaccompanied minors, an adult must fill out a consent form. The company has the German safety certification TÜV, which ensures that the structures comply with the European regulation EN 15649.
A plan that captivates locals and tourists
Costa Water Park has become one of the star attractions of the summer on the Costa del Sol. In a destination where sun and beach tourism reigns, the possibility of adding a dose of adrenaline over the water makes a difference. Families, groups of friends, and solo travellers find here a different way to enjoy the Mediterranean.
For residents of the province of Málaga, it is an opportunity to rediscover their own beaches with a playful approach. And for tourists, an additional incentive to choose the Costa del Sol. Because, after all, who hasn't dreamed of jumping over the waves from a trampoline? Summer on the Costa del Sol has many faces, but few as refreshing as this floating park.
