Presenter Beatriz Archidona, who has just premiered 'De lunes a viernes' on Telecinco, has renovated a flat in Madrid with her husband and children. The home, designed by herself, becomes her oasis to disconnect from the spotlight.

Beatriz Archidona, 42, has found in her Madrid flat the perfect counterpoint to the television studio. The presenter, who has just landed in the afternoons of Mediaset with her new daily format 'De lunes a viernes', completely renovated her home in September 2024. The result is a home that she herself describes as “the project of our lives,” as she confessed while showing the before images of the renovation.

A lovingly renovated flat for family life

The residence, where she lives with her husband, Carlos Danza, and their two children, Leo and Gabriel, was transformed with a clear goal: to create a space for disconnection. “Building a new home with my foremen,” joked the communicator, making it clear that the whole family participated in the project. The living room, with open and airy spaces, embraces warm minimalism with white walls and furniture that blend with the oak floor.

An interior design secret she has used is the strategically placed full-length mirrors to double the light and create a sense of spaciousness. The contrast is provided by a large modular sofa in a bluish fris tone and, as a standout piece, a low tempered glass table in orange that adds visual lightness without losing presence.

Design with soul and iconic pieces

Archidona steers clear of magazine homes and seeks a “house with soul” through designer furniture. In the hallway, a mid century walnut sideboard with conical legs generates a sense of heritage and visual lightness. To fill the dead spaces, she has placed an Orbital lamp by Foscarini that brings life to a corner of the living room. In the master bedroom, the Mediterranean style arrives with terracotta textiles that convey serenity, while the bathroom has been designed almost like a spa with porcelain tiles, one of the trends for 2026.

The great treasure of the residence is the exterior, where she has created a wellness area with a chill out solarium and a dining area to enjoy good weather with family. For the Madrid neighbour looking for renovation ideas, this house shows that with planning and key pieces, a personal refuge can be achieved without falling into the impersonal. The presenter has demonstrated that, when the lights are off, her true set is this meticulously designed oasis.
