The Málaga City Council has ordered the precautionary closure of booth number 135, Koloa, for violating fair regulations. This is the first sanction of this edition.

The Málaga Fair has recorded its first closure of the edition. The Koloa booth, number 135, will remain closed for 24 hours after the City Council detected irregularities in the delimitation of its spaces and in the placement of tables and chairs.

According to the City Council, the measure is adopted due to the violation of the Fair Ordinance, specifically in the sections regulating the organization of family booths. The booth had already been warned previously to correct the situation, but it did not do so within the 24-hour period granted.

This is not the first time Koloa has received a closure order during the Málaga Fair. In the 2025 edition, it was also closed, although the reason then was different: not allowing free and unrestricted access to the public, a mandatory condition for this type of space.

The new closure occurs due to violations related to the delimitation of areas and the arrangement of furniture, after the initial warning did not result in the correction of the noted deficiencies. The measure aims to ensure compliance with the rules governing the fairgrounds.

In the 2025 Málaga Fair, five booths had to close temporarily for 24 hours due to various violations of the municipal ordinance. Koloa was the fifth affected, after repeatedly preventing free and unrestricted access to its facilities. Previously, La Exquisita had been closed for access restrictions and charging or requiring invitations; Selvática, for attempting to charge an entrance fee; La Bulla, for problems in space delimitation and the removal of tables and chairs; and Jaleo, for repeatedly failing to have security personnel.

The booth will remain closed for the next 24 hours, after which it may reopen if it meets the required conditions. Attendees at the Fair should take this incident into account when planning their visit to the venue.
