The Youth area organises the last summer outing, departing from Mercacentro for 10 euros. Registrations open on August 21.
The Town Hall of Fuengirola, through its Youth area, has organised a new trip to Tarifa for September 5, which is presented as the last outing of the summer for the young people of the municipality. The activity, which repeats the destination due to the good reception of previous editions, will cost 10 euros per participant, with transportation included.
The Councillor for Youth, Isaac Vargas, presented the proposal on Wednesday, aimed at young people aged between 16 and 35. The departure is scheduled for 09:00 from Mercacentro, while the return from Tarifa is set for around 20:00.
Vargas highlighted that Tarifa "is a destination that our young people really like and that brings together everything we seek in these types of outings: sport, leisure, nature, and a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a day among friends." The councillor insisted that the initiative aims to "close the summer in the best possible way" at an affordable price.
Registrations and payment can be made starting from August 21 at 20:00 through the Citizen Card, the usual system for these types of municipal activities. The Youth area expects high demand, as in previous outings to this same destination.
This trip adds to the summer activities organised by the Fuengirola Town Hall, which has combined sports, cultural, and leisure proposals for the young people of the municipality during July and August. With this outing, the area closes its summer programme, although it is already working on activities for the next school year.
Those interested should pay attention to the Citizen Card platform next Friday, as, according to the councillor himself, "we are sure that this outing will again have great demand." The activity includes only transportation, so participants will need to bring their own food and materials for the activities they wish to carry out in Tarifa.
