The Alhaurín el Grande Town Hall has opened the public participation period for the draft of the Urban Planning Plan (POU), a document that will shape the municipality's urban development in the coming years. From this Wednesday until September 15, anyone interested can submit suggestions and contributions.
The mayor, Anthony Bermúdez, and the municipal architect, Guillermo Ordóñez, have announced the opening of this period, which begins following the approval of the document and its submission to the Junta de Andalucía to continue with the administrative processing. Bermúdez has highlighted the importance of citizen involvement in a process he considers "fundamental to solving many of the urban issues currently affecting the municipality and impacting numerous residents."
To facilitate participation, the Town Hall has set up a specific space on its website, where all documentation related to the POU draft can be consulted and the form for submitting suggestions and comments can be downloaded. Once completed, the form must be submitted through the Entry Register or via the Town Hall's Electronic Headquarters.
The POU draft constitutes a key phase in the development of the future Urban Planning Plan. After this public consultation period, the document will continue its processing to become a strategic tool that will regulate the municipality's growth, provide greater legal security, and resolve urban situations that have been affecting numerous residents for years.
The mayor has encouraged all citizens to actively participate in this process, emphasizing that community contributions will help complete and improve a document of great significance for the future of Alhaurín el Grande. Interested parties can access all the information through the municipal website at alhaurinelgrande.es/POU.
