The Culture Area of Alhaurín el Grande is offering three free workshops this autumn in ceramics, artificial intelligence, and comics as part of the 'Cuarta Estación' programme. Registrations for ceramics are made at the Ildefonso Marzo Municipal Library.

The Culture Area of the Alhaurín el Grande Town Hall has scheduled three free cultural workshops this autumn as part of the 'Cuarta Estación' initiative. The activities cover ceramics, artificial intelligence, and comics, and are aimed at audiences of different ages.

The Ceramics Workshop, taught by Carmen Casado from Mahareta Estudio, will take place over two independent sessions on 15 and 22 October, from 18:00 to 20:00 hours. Registration is done at the Ildefonso Marzo Municipal Library, is aimed at those over 18 years old, and includes all materials and a handcrafted piece that each participant can decorate and use at home.

The second proposal is the workshop 'Who is writing your life?', focusing on artificial intelligence, creativity, and critical thinking, led by Alejandro Jerez Zambrana, a Language and Literature teacher, journalist, and writer. It will be held over three sessions: Fridays 6 and 13 November, from 16:30 to 18:30 hours, and Saturday 7 November, from 10:00 to 12:00 hours, at the Ildefonso Marzo Municipal Library. It is aimed at young people aged 15 and above and adults, with a total duration of six hours.

The third initiative is the Youth Comic Club, which is being launched for the first time in Alhaurín el Grande with local illustrator and author of Lorquiana, María Badía. Due to the high demand, with over 30 interested individuals, the Culture Area has expanded the programme with a second round. The first session, for children aged 8 to 13 years, will take place on 17 October, 14 November, and 5 December; the second, for young people aged 14 and above, will occur on 10 and 31 October and 28 November. The registration period has now closed.

"From the Culture Area, we continue to bet on bringing culture to all audiences and generating spaces where, in addition to enjoying, we can learn, experiment, and share. These workshops are a demonstration of that commitment to free, accessible, and quality culture," says the Councillor for Culture, Marina Maldonado.
"We are especially excited to launch this Comic Club for the first time and to see that it has generated so much interest even before starting. The fact that more than 30 people have shown interest has led us to create a second round," explains Maldonado.

Those interested in the ceramics workshop must register for one of the two sessions at the Ildefonso Marzo Municipal Library. The places for the Comic Club are now closed.
