The Vélez club, led by its president Emilio Cubo, met with Mayor Jesús Lupiáñez and the Sports Councillor to present the new phase and the affordable season ticket prices.
Vélez Club de Fútbol 1922 has taken a firm step in its new phase with the launch of the season ticket campaign for the 2026/27 season. The board, headed by its president, Emilio Cubo, met this Tuesday with the Mayor of Vélez-Málaga, Jesús Lupiáñez, and the Sports Councillor, Manuel Gutiérrez, in an institutional meeting held at the Town Hall.
During the meeting, the club representatives presented the membership cards to the mayor and the municipal sports officer, a gesture that symbolises the historic bond between the entity, the city, and the Town Hall. The club competes in the Second Andaluza Senior (Málaga) and aims to rekindle the enthusiasm of its fans with a renewed sports and social project.
The new season ticket campaign, under the slogan “A new beginning. The same enthusiasm”, offers affordable prices for everyone. The General Season Ticket will cost 35 euros, while associations, youths aged 12 to 16, and seniors over 65 will have a reduced price of 30 euros. A Gold Season Ticket, priced at 120 euros, has also been created for those who wish to provide extra support to the club.
The goal is for the Vivar Téllez Stadium to once again become a fortress, with the backing of a fanbase that has always been one of the pillars of Vélez football. The entity encourages historical members and new supporters to join the project, which will kick off with the upcoming season in the regional category.
The sale of season tickets will begin soon, and the club will inform through its official channels about the date and points of sale. This initiative reinforces the sense of belonging and seeks to have the fans accompany the team in every home match at the Vivar Téllez.
