The second edition of the Gastrolatino Festival will be held from August 13 to 16 in Plaza Al-Ándalus with food trucks, music, and children's activities.
Rincón de la Victoria will host the second edition of the Gastrolatino Festival, which will take place from August 13 to 16 in Plaza Al-Ándalus. The event, organised by the Department of Culture, Fairs and Festivals, will transform the town centre into a meeting point with international cuisine, live music, and entertainment.
The programme will kick off each afternoon from 6:30 PM with ambient music and children's activities, while musical performances and entertainment shows will start from 8:00 PM. The days will culminate with tribute concerts, and on Sunday, August 16, the festival will conclude at midnight after the tribute to Carlos Vives.
The Councillor for Culture, Fairs and Festivals, Paz Couto, highlighted that the proposal returns with a programme designed for all audiences: "We want Plaza Al-Ándalus to be a vibrant space full of atmosphere, colour, and fun during these days." Meanwhile, the mayor, Francisco Salado, emphasised that this initiative "promotes coexistence between cultures, boosts local economic activity, and provides a meeting space to enjoy with family and friends."
The gastronomic offer will include a selection of international food stalls inspired by different Latin American countries, featuring options such as Colombian arepas, Chilean sandwiches, or Argentine meats. There will also be areas dedicated to tropical cocktails and a food truck zone.
The head of Producciones Raíces, Rafa Urquiza, explained that the public will be able to taste "artisan ice creams, buñuelos, among others," and dance to the rhythms of bachata, salsa, merengue, and vallenato. The festival, which is free to enter, aims to enhance the cultural and leisure offerings of the municipality during the summer.
The event is from August 13 to 16 in Plaza Al-Ándalus, with evening hours until midnight. It is recommended to arrive early to enjoy all the activities.
