The Rincón de la Victoria Town Hall has opened the registration for the VIII Photography Contest 'Tourism in Rincón'. Selected images will illustrate the 2027 Tourist Calendar and will be showcased at fairs such as FITUR, London, and Berlin.
The Rincón de la Victoria Town Hall, through the Tourism Department, has called for the VIII Photography Contest 'Tourism in Rincón'. The chosen photographs will be part of the 2027 Tourist Calendar and will be used in the municipality's promotional material at international fairs such as FITUR (Madrid), London, and Berlin.
The Councillor for Tourism, Antonio José Martín, stated:
“This contest turns photography enthusiasts into true ambassadors of Rincón de la Victoria. Thanks to their perspective and work, their images will represent our municipality at some of the most important tourism fairs in Europe, in Madrid, London, and Berlin.”Martín added that over 300 photographs were received in the last edition.
The mayor, Francisco Salado, noted:
“This contest highlights the enormous potential of Rincón de la Victoria as a tourist destination through the creativity and perspective of those who know and enjoy our municipality.”“Each photograph allows us to discover a new perspective of our landscapes, heritage, traditions, and gastronomy, and contributes to projecting the image of Rincón de la Victoria beyond our borders,” he added.
All individuals over the age of 18 can participate, with an unlimited number of photographs. The works must be original and unpublished, not submitted to other contests or published on websites or digital or printed media. Electronic alteration is not permitted, except for minimal adjustments to colour and brightness.
The images must be submitted in horizontal format, JPG, and a minimum resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels, and should be sent via email to turismo@rincondelavictoria.es. The deadline will remain open until 31 October.
Each selected photograph will receive a dinner for two valued at 100 euros at local restaurants, as well as tickets for two to Villa Antiopa, the Cueva del Tesoro, the Cueva de la Victoria, and the Theatrical Route. The awarded works will become the property of the Town Hall, which may use them on social media, websites, media outlets, and for tourism and commercial promotion actions.
