The Starlite Occident Marbella festival celebrates its 15th anniversary with a lineup featuring artists such as Maroon 5, Lenny Kravitz, and Juan Luis Guerra. Over 350,000 attendees per edition solidify this event on the international cultural map.

The Starlite Occident Marbella festival has reached its 15th anniversary, a milestone that its creator, Sandra García-Sanjuán, describes as the transition from "a dream to becoming a project with its own identity." The event, which merges music, fine dining, and nature in the Cantera de Nagüeles, attracts over 350,000 visitors per edition.

García-Sanjuán emphasizes that "the obsession with excellence and authenticity has been the key to differentiating ourselves." The festival, which kicked off on June 19 with a sold-out show by Ozuna, has scheduled concerts by artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5, and Juan Luis Guerra, among others.

An experience in three acts

The organization has designed a "unique universe" that lasts for nearly three months of summer. The experience begins at 8:00 PM with the opening of doors and five gastronomic spaces featuring local and international cuisine. At 10:00 PM, the concerts begin, which this year include Deep Purple, Rick Astley, and Ana Torroja, among others.

After the performance, VIP attendees can enjoy terraces and boxes that recreate a private club atmosphere until dawn. García-Sanjuán underscores that "the experience had to be integral" and that "every detail matters: the environment, the service, the gastronomy, the technology, or the staging."

Solidarity and youth awards

The festival also has a charitable component with the Starlite Occident Gala, which will take place on August 9. This charity event is one of the most significant during the Spanish summer. Additionally, the Youth Awards will be presented, recognising young talents in various disciplines.

García-Sanjuán explains that "music remains our heart, but it is no longer the only language." The festival has become "a global platform for experiences" that integrates gastronomy, hospitality, content, and audiovisual production. "We live in a time when people increasingly value what cannot be replicated on a screen," she adds.

For the residents of Marbella and visitors, the festival offers a unique opportunity to enjoy great artists in an intimate setting. Tickets for the concerts are still available on the official website, with prices ranging from 50 to 200 euros. The festival will run until the end of August, with performances almost daily.
