Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Mora delivered a historic concert at Starlite Occident Marbella with sold-out tickets, 24 songs, and the presence of Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The night included the debut of '7 Lágrimas' and a football atmosphere ahead of the World Cup final.

The Cantera de Nagüeles vibrated this Friday with Mora's debut at Starlite Occident Marbella. The Puerto Rican artist, one of the leading figures in contemporary reggaeton, performed a repertoire of 24 songs that showcased his biggest hits and connected with an audience that filled the venue. The 'sold out' sign was up hours before the start.

A repertoire that had it all

From the start with 'Volando Remix' to the closing with 'Aurora', Mora kept the audience on their feet. Songs like 'Tuyo' and 'Detrás de tu Alma' resonated strongly, while 'Playa Privada' sparked an impromptu chant of “I am Spanish” among the attendees, in a nod to the World Cup final that Spain is competing in this Sunday.

The artist reserved a special moment to premiere '7 Lágrimas' live, which the audience sang along to as if they had known it forever. “Thank you Starlite Occident, I love you,” he said before leaving the stage, as reported by the organisers.

A luxury box with Courtois

The football night was reflected in the Presidential Box, where Thibaut Courtois and his partner, Mishel Gerzig, enjoyed the concert alongside Sandra García-Sanjuán and Ignacio Maluquer, festival organisers. The Real Madrid goalkeeper, who will miss the final due to injury, was one of the most notable attendees. Also spotted were Victoria Federica, Paula Echevarría, and Estefanía Luyk.

The atmosphere leading up to the final was palpable throughout the show. Mora, aware of the occasion, improvised football references that perfectly matched the audience's energy. “Here, no one thinks they are more important than anyone else,” he said while asking the crowd to light up their phones, creating a sea of lights that united the entire auditorium.

The party continued until dawn

When the concert ended, the music did not stop. The Starlite Night Club hosted the 'Daddy' party, a reggaeton session that extended the energy well into the early hours. The organisation confirmed that the Starlite experience goes beyond the stage, and this night proved it.

This Sunday, Starlite Occident Marbella will reopen its doors at 20:00 hours to experience the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina together. An event that promises to bring together fans and artists in the same space, just as it did tonight with Mora.

For the people of Malaga, the evening was a unique opportunity to enjoy an international star in an intimate setting, just a few kilometres from home. Starlite Occident thus consolidates itself as a cultural reference that transcends music and becomes a meeting point for major events.
