Estepona's council is launching the third edition of 'Sharing Cultures' with three celebrations on the Promenade on September 19, 26, and 27. The city brings together residents from 135 nationalities.
The Estepona Council has announced the start of the third edition of 'Sharing Cultures', the municipal programme aimed at promoting integration and coexistence among the various nationalities in the city. The first events will take place on the Promenade, near the Monument to the Peseta, and will be dedicated to the Italian, British, and Ukrainian communities.
The first will be Italian Culture Day, on Saturday September 19, from 17:00 to 22:00, featuring musical performances, cultural activities, and gastronomic offerings.
On Saturday September 26, during the same hours, British Day will be celebrated, including live music, dance performances, and market and food stalls.
On Sunday September 27, from 12:00 to 21:00, Ukrainian Day will take place, featuring a craft market, master classes, traditional cuisine, and a gala concert starring Ukrainian artists and groups from the Costa del Sol.
The councillor for the Extrarradio area, Begoña Ortiz, has stated that the programme represents a commitment to coexistence and strengthening ties among the communities that make up Estepona.

Estepona is home to residents from 135 different nationalities, representing approximately 32 percent of the registered population. The programme is developed in collaboration with associations and groups of foreign residents and will continue throughout the autumn with new celebrations dedicated to other countries.
The council will announce the rest of the programme for this third edition. The activities are free and will be held outdoors on the Promenade.
