The Official School of Languages of Ronda sets up a table on La Bola street this afternoon to inform about its offerings in German, Spanish, French, and English. Enrollment remains open until December 31 if places are available.
The Official School of Languages (EOI) of Ronda is taking its educational offerings to the street this Wednesday. Several teachers from the centre will assist residents at an informative table set up on calle Espinel, known as calle La Bola, at the corner with plaza del Socorro. The aim is to address queries from those wishing to enroll and to raise awareness of the available languages: German, Spanish, French, and English.
The director of the centre, Amelia Salas, has detailed the levels offered. The EOI of Ronda provides German up to B1, Spanish at A1 and A2, French from A1 to B2, and English from A1 to C1. This offering is complemented by a new four-month course in Customer Service in English, at a basic level for users, aimed at the city's tourism and commercial sector.
“This is a public centre under the Junta de Andalucía, with reduced fees, no monthly payments, and the possibility of scholarships, discounts, and exemptions for certain groups,” Salas pointed out.
The director acknowledged that enrollment is lower in German and French and announced that the centre will request the Department of Education to reinstate the B2 level of German and implement the B1 level of Spanish, in response to existing demand.
The municipal delegate for Education, Cristina Durán, encouraged citizens to approach the table for information and enrollment, and reminded that language knowledge is useful in both personal and professional spheres. Durán linked this training to the importance of tourism in Ronda's economy.
The enrollment period for the new course remains open until December 31, as long as places are available. Interested individuals can consult the offerings this afternoon at the table on La Bola street or go directly to the centre.
