Local Police officer Andrés Benítez Muñoz will represent the municipality in the XXVIII Local Police BTT Championship, taking place on Saturday, September 26 in León.
The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the Sports councillor, Rogelio Pascual, welcomed Local Police officer Andrés Benítez Muñoz at the Town Hall, who will participate in the XXVIII Local Police BTT Championship. The event will be held on Saturday, September 26 in León.
The competition is reserved for members of local police forces from across Spain and is held annually as a single race. In this edition, Benítez will compete for the fifth consecutive year representing the local security force of Manilva.
Also present at the meeting in the Town Hall was the Chief of Local Police, Javier González. The municipal officials expressed their support to the officer for the sporting event.
The officer will represent the local security force for the fifth year and, in solidarity, will wear the uniform of his colleagues from Ceuta.
Benítez's participation will ensure that Manilva is represented in a state-level championship reserved for Local Police officers. The race will take place in a single day, on Saturday, September 26, in León.
