The City Council of Málaga revealed on Wednesday the programme for the Málaga Fair 2026, which will bring together nearly 200 free musical and artistic performances at various locations around the city.

The main stages will be the Municipal Auditorium, the Flamenco and Copla tent, the Verdiales tent, the Youth Esplanade, and several squares in the Historic Centre.
The Councillor for Festivals, Teresa Porras, emphasised that the majority of the main artists are from Málaga, reinforcing the commitment to local talent in a celebration that also boosts the economy, employment, and tourism of the capital. The programme combines tradition and modernity for all audiences.
Flamenco Tradition and Verdiales
Flamenco will play a prominent role at the Peña Juan Breva, where singers such as Gema Garcés, Chato de Vélez, Bonela, and José Lucena will perform. The verdiales will have their own space at the Cortijo de Torres, which will host exclusively from 22:00 to 03:00 hours the three styles: Montes, Almogía, and Comares.
The Real Cortijo de Torres will also house the Equestrian Exhibition Centre, with daily shows at 16:00 and 20:00 hours, such as 'Málaga Dreams on Horseback' or 'The Equestrian Rhythm'. This offer adds to the varied musical and artistic proposal of the fair.
Youth Space and Magical Fair
The Youth Esplanade will once again be the meeting point for younger people, with DJ sessions in a space where, as the council has reminded, it is common to overlook the alcohol consumption restrictions. Although there are areas where drinking is not allowed, this area has become an 'improvised drinking spot' during the fair nights.
For children, the Magical Fair returns with a cultural project that has accompanied thousands of families for thirty years. There will be performances both in the municipal children's tent at the Real Cortijo de Torres and in the Plaza de la Merced, designed for the youngest audience.
The complete programme, with schedules and artists, will be available on the official channels of the City Council of Málaga in the coming days. The fair will officially begin next Friday, with the traditional lighting of the Real.
