The A-7 has accumulated 5.87 kilometres of very slow traffic in Rincón de la Victoria. The DGT reports four other incidents in Pizarra, Alhaurín de la Torre, Ojén, and Málaga city.
Drivers travelling early on this Tuesday around Rincón de la Victoria, Pizarra, Alhaurín de la Torre, Ojén, and Málaga are encountering delays and dense traffic. The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) counts five significant incidents on the roads in Málaga, as reported by Diario Sur.
The most extensive issue affects the A-7 as it passes through Rincón de la Victoria: between kilometres 967.99 and 973.86, a stretch of 5.87 kilometres, traffic is very slow with intermittent stops since 07:14 hours.
On the A-357, near Pizarra, congestion and slow movement are reported between kilometres 40.85 and 43.60, a distance of 2.75 kilometres, since 07:03. The high volume of vehicles is slowing down the usual flow.
The A-404 shows slow traffic in Alhaurín de la Torre, from kilometre 23.50 to 24.50 (1.00 kilometre), since 06:53. And on the A-355, as it passes through Ojén, congestion extends between kilometres 24.20 and 25.66, a journey of 1.46 kilometres, since 06:47.
In Málaga city, the DGT has detected closed lanes on the A-7 at kilometre 993.00. Monitoring of this anomaly began at 05:41 hours.
The General Directorate of Traffic urges extreme caution when passing through the affected sections.
The sections with the most delay are those on the A-7 in Rincón de la Victoria and the A-357 in Pizarra. The DGT recommends that drivers check the state of the roads before setting out and, if possible, delay or advance their journey on these routes.
