The Rincón de la Victoria Town Hall is launching the fifth edition of 'Dragonfly Effect', free workshops on emotional well-being and personal growth aimed at women and men of all ages. Registrations can now be formalised via WhatsApp or phone.
The Women's Area of Social Welfare of the Rincón de la Victoria Town Hall, in collaboration with the Department of Seniors, has opened the fifth edition of the 'Dragonfly Effect' project, an initiative of free workshops for women and men of all ages focused on emotional well-being, personal growth, and interpersonal relationships.
The workshops will be held in five locations throughout the municipality: the Active Participation Centre for Seniors of Rincón de la Victoria, the Musas Room in La Cala del Moral, the headquarters of the Amanecer de la Torre association in Torre de Benagalbón, the headquarters of the Benalbinas association in Benagalbón, and the headquarters of the Amuaxa association in Rincón de la Victoria.
The Councillor for Social Welfare, Belén Gutiérrez, has stated that the project aims to create a space for self-connection:
“It offers a different space where participants can connect with themselves, reflect, and acquire tools that contribute to their emotional well-being, improve their personal relationships, and support their individual development; and 'Dragonfly Effect' precisely represents that perspective.”
The mayor, Francisco Salado, has highlighted the continuity of a proposal that each year exceeds a hundred participants:
“By continuing initiatives like this, which each year involve more than a hundred people and aim to generate spaces for meeting, participation, and personal growth.”
The Councillor for Seniors, Nacho Cuadra, has emphasised that the workshops are accessible to all areas of the municipality so that residents can participate in their own environment.
The project coordinators, Juani Ruiz and Maribel Lezcano, have explained the focus of the sessions:
“We want each participant to find in the workshops a place where they feel comfortable, heard, and supported, and that they can take away tools and experiences that are useful in their daily lives.”
Spaces are limited and registration is free. Interested individuals can sign up via WhatsApp or by calling 609 035 737 and 667 656 229.
