The Youth Area of the Antequera City Council has organised a double celebration for next Friday, August 7, at the Malaje VIP Club, with activities differentiated by age.
The first of the proposals, aimed at young people aged 12 to 17, will take place from 21:30 to 00:00 hours and will be an alcohol-free party. Entry will cost 3.50 euros and will include a soft drink, as reported by the delegated councillor for Youth, Marta González, at a press conference.
During this time slot, attendees will be able to enjoy music from a DJ, a glitter and fluorescent paint workshop, a themed photocall, and areas with hot dogs and popcorn. There will also be photography and video services to capture the evening, as well as various surprises that will be revealed throughout the night.
Once the first activity concludes and the space is prepared, a second party aimed at those over 17 will kick off at 00:30 hours, with free entry until capacity is reached. This session will extend into the early hours and will feature the main attraction known as the Crazy Hour, which will consist of three themed segments.
Each segment will include costumed entertainers, visual effects, confetti, LED lighting, and glowing items, with the aim of transforming the dance floor and offering a different staging with each performance. Music will be provided by a DJ throughout the night.
Marta González explained that the goal is to offer “a large-format experience” that makes this celebration one of the highlighted events of the summer for the youth of Antequera. She also wanted to convey a message of reassurance to families, reminding them that previous alcohol-free parties organised by the Youth Area have taken place normally and in a safe environment.
The councillor reaffirmed the municipal commitment to continue providing leisure alternatives that meet the demands of the young population, promoting “safe, inclusive, and quality” spaces where they can share experiences, interact, and enjoy their free time.
Registrations and ticket purchases for the youth party can be made at the Youth House. For more information, interested parties can call 952 708 320.
