The Town Hall of Antequera presents the programme of workshops at the Youth Centre for the 2026-2027 academic year, which will run from October to June and includes two theatre workshops and the Funky School.
The Town Hall of Antequera, through the Youth Department, presented this Wednesday 30th September the programme of workshops for the 2026-2027 academic year at the Youth Centre. The offer will take place between October and June 2027 and includes two theatre workshops and the Funky School, as reported by the Youth Councillor, Marta González.
The Theatre Workshop of the Antequera Cultural Association continues its sessions at the Youth Centre following the success of previous courses. Classes will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 18:15 to 19:30, and on Thursdays from 18:15 to 19:45. Registrations can be made via email at escuela@antequerateatro.com.
The Funky School, led by Elena Nieto, continues for another year with age-specific groups for participants aged 3 to 18 years. Classes are held on Fridays between 16:00 and 20:30, depending on the age group. Registrations can be formalised via email at elenanieto84@gmail.com or by phone at 646 287 682.
The programme is completed with a second theatre workshop run by Mollete Kolektiv, a youth collective that participated last academic year. Sessions will be on Wednesdays from 17:30 to 19:00, with registrations at luzdegasmollete@gmail.com.
The Youth Councillor highlighted that these proposals expand the training and social options for young people in Antequera without the need to travel outside the city.
“These are cultural alternatives that enrich our offer and allow more and more young people to find their space in the Youth Centre”
González added that the Youth Department will continue to work to provide alternatives for this sector of the population.
