The Royal August Fair of Antequera will take place from the 19th to the 23rd of August with 25 booths spread between the Day Fair and the Fairgrounds. The 19th and the 24th will be Children's Days, with reduced prices and two hours without noise.

The Royal August Fair of Antequera 2026 already has its roadmap. The festive event, which will be held from Wednesday, August 19 to Sunday, August 23, will feature a total of 25 booths distributed between the Day Fair and the Fairgrounds, as confirmed by the City Council of Antequera.

During the day, activities will be concentrated in the Paseo Real and in the city centre. Specifically, 14 booths will be part of the Day Fair: twelve will be set up in the Paseo Real and the other two in different points of the urban area, such as the Caseta del Consuelo, on San Pedro Street, next to the church of San Pedro, and the one of the Cofradía del Mayor Dolor, at Alameda de Andalucía, 1.

In the Paseo Real, groups and brotherhoods such as Balonmano Los Dólmenes, Hermandades de Santa Eufemia and La Salud, Caseta de Arriba (Archicofradía del Socorro), Archicofradía del Rosario, Cofradía del Mayor Dolor, Caseta del Consuelo, Club Boxeo Antequera, La Airosa (Cofradía de Abajo), Cofradía de la Soledad, Cofradía de los Estudiantes, Los Dolores and Rescate will be present.

At night, the epicentre will be the Fairgrounds, which will host 11 booths and spaces for dining and leisure. Among them are Amigos del Caballo, La Oficina by La Comanda, El Fogón de Muñoz, Malaje VIP Club, Brasiliani Andalú, A la Vega, Gastrobar Casa Lucía, El Granaino, Merendero Bar Garrido, Malaje VIP Club (Juventud) and the Municipal Booth.

The City Council of Antequera has sought to reinforce the inclusive nature of the fair with Children's Days, which will be held on August 19 and 24. On these days, the attractions will offer lower prices to facilitate family participation.

Additionally, both days will reserve two hours without noise, from 20:30 to 22:30, with the aim of reducing the sound impact of the attractions. This measure seeks to avoid situations of sensory overload or anxiety crises among people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or those with noise hypersensitivity.

With this programming, the Royal August Fair maintains its commitment to combining community, gastronomy, and fun, both in the urban centre and the Paseo Real as well as in the night area of the Fairgrounds. The event will kick off on August 19 and will continue until the 23rd, with the 24th as an additional day for Children's Days.

“We continue to move towards a more accessible and inclusive Fair, enabling everyone to enjoy one of the city's main festive events,” highlight sources from the City Council of Antequera.

Residents and visitors will be able to consult the complete program of activities and schedules on the official channels of the City Council of Antequera in the coming days.
