The Torremolinos Town Hall opens the period for paying the IBI and the industrial waste fee from September 16 to October 5, which requires requesting a new payment letter. The domestic fee can be paid without surcharge until November 30.
The Torremolinos Town Hall, through the Finance Department, has extended the deadline for paying the Property Tax (IBI) and the industrial waste fee. The new payment period runs from September 16 to October 5, 2026.
To pay within this extended period, taxpayers will need to request a new payment letter. The procedure can be done at the Virtual Office of the Provincial Collection Board of Málaga (https://ovt.prpmalaga.es/), by calling the taxpayer assistance numbers 951 957 000 or 951 957 497, or in person at the Patronage office in Torremolinos, located at Calle Cruz, 35.
At the same time, the voluntary payment period for the domestic waste fee extends from September 16 to November 30. In this case, it is not necessary to request a new payment letter.
The Town Hall has explained that the measure aims to provide more flexibility to families and facilitate compliance with tax obligations. Payments during the voluntary period do not incur surcharges.
Those required to pay can do so by card at the Virtual Office, scanning the QR code on the payment letter with their mobile, or on weekdays at any branch of BBVA, Banco Sabadell, Banco Santander, Caixabank, Caja Rural de Granada, Cajamar, Kutxabank, Abanca, and Unicaja Banco, presenting the payment document. Payments can also be made with a card reader at the Collection Patronage office in Torremolinos, at Calle Cruz, 35.
