The Youth Area of Fuengirola has organised a trip to the water park Aqualand Torremolinos for August 10. Registrations will open on July 31 at 20:00 through the Citizen Card.
The Town Hall of Fuengirola, through the Youth Department, has launched a new summer leisure activity for the young people of the municipality. This is a trip to the water park Aqualand Torremolinos, which will take place on August 10. The initiative is aimed at individuals aged between 16 and 35 registered in Fuengirola, with the aim of providing a healthy and fun leisure alternative during the summer holidays.
The departure is scheduled for 09:00 from Mercacentro, one of the usual meeting points for these types of activities organised by the Council. The return will take place at the closing of the water park, allowing participants to enjoy all the attractions and facilities throughout the day. The activity includes round-trip transport as well as entry to the park, although the price has not yet been disclosed.
The Youth Councillor, Isaac Vargas, has presented this initiative at a press conference. Vargas encouraged the young people of Fuengirola to register and highlighted that “from the Youth Department we continue to work to offer activities that respond to the interests of the young people of Fuengirola and that allow them to enjoy their free time with attractive, different and affordable proposals.” In his speech, he emphasised that “this trip to Aqualand is a magnificent opportunity to spend a very fun day with friends.”
Registrations will open on July 31 at 20:00 and must be formalised through the Citizen Card, the municipal identification system that allows access to various services and discounts. The registration period will remain open until all available places are filled, so the Town Hall recommends registering as soon as possible, as this type of activity usually has a great reception among the young people of the locality.
Vargas reminded that “summer invites us to enjoy outdoor activities and, with the high temperatures typical of this time of year, a water park becomes a perfect plan to cool off and have a great time.” He also added that “we are convinced that it will be a very fun day and an experience that the participants will remember fondly.”
This trip is part of the summer programme of the Youth Area of Fuengirola, which during the summer months organises various recreational and educational activities for the young people of the municipality. Among them, workshops, urban camps and cultural outings stand out, all with affordable prices and aimed at promoting coexistence and healthy leisure.
Aqualand Torremolinos is one of the most popular water parks on the Costa del Sol, with numerous attractions such as slides, wave pools and children's areas. The trip will allow the young people of Fuengirola to enjoy a full day at these facilities, in a safe environment supervised by municipal monitors.
Those interested in participating can obtain more information through the Fuengirola Town Hall website or at the offices of the Youth Department. The Council reminds that it is necessary to have the Citizen Card to register, and that places are limited.
