The winger of Athletic Club and world champion with Spain is currently resting in an exclusive residence at the Epic Marbella by Fendi complex, purchased for nearly four million euros.
Footballer Nico Williams has chosen Marbella as his destination to enjoy his holidays after being crowned world champion with the Spanish national team at the 2026 World Cup. The Athletic Club player has been staying this week in a luxurious villa at the Epic Marbella by Fendi complex, a property he acquired for around four million euros after previously holidaying at his brother Iñaki Williams' house.
The residence is located in the Sierra Blanca urbanisation, about 800 metres from the sea and with views of the iconic La Concha mountain. The residential complex, promoted by Fendi, offers services typical of a five-star hotel, allowing the footballer to enjoy all the comforts without needing to leave the premises.
The urbanisation features a spa, gym, 25-metre indoor pool, social club, gastrobar, co-working spaces, and a children's area. Nico Williams can maintain his training routine in the complex's gym and relax in the saunas and private pools of his own villa.
The Epic Marbella by Fendi complex has become a magnet for wealthy international figures, especially from the sports world. Among its owners is Alf Haaland, father of footballer Erling Haaland, who also has a residence in the same location. The development is part of the transformation of Sierra Blanca into a showcase of European residential luxury, with other developments linked to brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Karl Lagerfeld.
Within the urbanisation, Nico Williams' house adjoins Villa Bellagio, considered the most expensive mansion in Spain, designed by architect Jesús del Valle and awarded the Macael Prize, a distinction given by the Spanish royal family. Pedro Rodríguez, CEO of the development and partner of Rafa Nadal, praised the Williams brothers: “They are wonderful and we love how they take care of their family when they come. They love being in Marbella, where we are already waiting for them.”
The footballer has arrived in Marbella accompanied by his closest circle, including his girlfriend Ainhi García and friends like Lamine Yamal and other teammates. The player's stay coincides with a moment of rest after an intense football year, crowned with the world title.
One of the most emotional moments of the tournament was when Nico Williams hung his champion's medal around his mother, María Arthuer, saying: “This medal you have earned too, and it is yours as well.” The gesture reflects the close relationship that the Williams brothers maintain with their parents, Félix and María, who emigrated from Ghana to Spain in the 1990s and settled between the Basque Country and Navarre.
Regarding Nico Williams' sporting future, his representative, Félix Tainta, has called for calm amid speculation about a possible team change. In statements to Onda Cero, Tainta noted: “Now, calm. We need to be tranquil, let him enjoy, let him disconnect from football. Whatever comes, will come. Calm and tranquility.”
The Costa del Sol thus consolidates itself as a preferred destination for major figures in world sport, who find in Marbella a luxurious and private environment for their rest periods.
