50 women from various countries will travel in 25 red cars along the route between Marbella and Madrid to raise funds for Casa Ángeles, the Global Gift Foundation project in the city.

The charitable route 'Cash & Rocket Tour 2026' will kick off this Friday April 11 from Marbella with 50 women at the wheel of 25 red cars. The convoy will head to Madrid to coincide with the Spanish Grand Prix of Formula 1, according to Diario Sur.

Among the participants are businesswomen, athletes, actresses, and content creators from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Dubai. The charity event, driven by Danish entrepreneur Julie Brangstrup, has the motto 'Drive for a Cause' and this year will allocate the funds raised to the Global Gift Foundation, created by Marbella-based entrepreneur and philanthropist María Bravo.

The money will go to Casa Ángeles, the Global Gift project in Marbella for children with special educational needs and their families. Brangstrup herself was the one who presented the initiative to María Bravo, as she explained during the event's presentation at Puente Romano.

The Councillor for Equality and Diversity, Isabel Cintado, highlighted that the choice of Marbella as the starting point "reaffirms, precisely, the municipal commitment to all initiatives that promote and advocate for equal opportunities, female leadership, and empowerment, as well as cooperation with social causes of international scope".

Cintado thanked Julie Brangstrup for "her vision", as well as "the extraordinary work in our city and the commitment to Marbella" by the founder of the Global Gift Foundation, María Bravo.

The councillor added that the fact that the municipality is the origin of the route "will have an impact and will make that beginning full of successes and also of solidarity".

Cash & Rocket was born in 2011 when Brangstrup created a charity journey exclusively featuring women. The first edition took place a year later, and since then the project has travelled through several European countries combining tourism, luxury experiences, and charitable actions. Over the years, the red cars have become the symbol of the movement.

The departure is scheduled for this Friday, April 11, from Marbella. The route will conclude in Madrid coinciding with the Spanish Grand Prix of Formula 1.
