In Andalusia, the information and services centre Salud Responde has launched a new management system designed to optimise citizen care. This CRM (Customer Relationship Management) will provide an integrated platform to manage user interactions with health services.
Since its implementation in September 2025, the system has achieved over a million transactions, facilitating the work of health professionals. Francisco Pozo, managing director of the Emergency Health Centre 061 in Andalusia, highlighted that this tool represents a significant advancement in the modernisation of the service.
Features of the new SARES system
Named SARES, the new system offers a more agile interface tailored to the current needs of the service. This allows for better responsiveness to user demands, thus contributing to more efficient and coordinated care.
María Fernández, director of Nursing at CES 061, emphasises that the goal is to ensure that technology serves people and that the modernisation has been a collaborative process with the active participation of professionals in the sector.
Implementation process and training
The incorporation of SARES has been carried out gradually, with a focus on training the managers and professionals involved. The migration of the various service portfolios from the old CRM to the new platform has been a planned process that ensures the daily continuity of the service.
The IT team at Salud Responde has been fundamental in this evolution, as have the telephone managers and the nursing team. Their experience and adaptability have allowed the new tool to be integrated into daily practice without affecting the quality of service.
Pozo concluded that achieving over a million transactions through SARES reflects the success of this shared project, the result of a collective effort to improve healthcare in Andalusia.
