The first edition of the Victoria Festivals, driven by Cervezas Victoria in collaboration with the City Council and the Diputación of Málaga, brought together over 10,500 people in four emblematic locations of the capital from September 3 to 6.
More than 10,500 people took part in the first edition of the Victoria Festivals, which were held from September 3 to 6 at Fábrica Victoria, La Térmica, Plaza de Toros de La Malagueta, and Parque San Rafael, as reported by Diario Sur. The initiative, organized by Cervezas Victoria along with the City Council and the Diputación de Málaga, combined concerts, emerging music, flamenco, copla, folklore, crafts, and traditional activities.
The program kicked off on Thursday, September 3, at Fábrica Victoria with a performance by Besmaya and a craft market featuring offerings from Oceánica, Ana Lanas, and Ayla Atelier. On Sunday, September 6, a biznagas workshop was held there, including a factory tour and beer tasting, bringing attendees closer to one of the city's most recognizable symbols.
On Friday, September 4, La Térmica hosted over 2,800 people in a day filled with performances by Sike, Victorias, Carlos Sadness, and Alizzz DJ Set, as well as a cultural meeting dedicated to the jábega and the jabegotes. On Saturday, September 5, the Plaza de Toros de La Malagueta was the main stage with a lineup of Málaga artists: JavyPablo, Tabletom, María Peláe, and El Kanka closed the night.
On Sunday, September 6, Parque San Rafael hosted a free-access popular festival with groups such as Grupo Socio Cultural Solera, the Asociación Folclórica Cultural Juan Navarro, María Oliva, Lidia Gómez, Raquel Framit, and Grupo Esencia y Compás. From 6:00 PM, the collective Recreo offered DJ sessions that concluded the celebration.
The organization aims for these festivals to become a prominent fixture in the Málaga cultural calendar, adding new activities each year to strengthen their popular character.
