The City Council has closed the Colmao booth (85 and 86) for 24 hours for charging entry, disrupting order, and exceeding hours. This is the second closure in two days, following Koloa.

The Málaga Fair 2026 has now experienced its second precautionary closure in two days. The City Council decreed this Thursday the closure for 24 hours of the Colmao booth, corresponding to booths 85 and 86, after an intervention by the Local Police in the early hours.

The officers confirmed several violations of the Fair Ordinance, including the charging or requiring an invitation, consumption, or pass for entry, a behaviour classified as a very serious infringement. They also detected excesses in the operating hours and issues with the delimitation of areas and the placement of tables and chairs, both considered serious.

The police action was marked by serious disturbances of public order that required the officers to intervene during the early hours. In addition to the precautionary closure, a corresponding sanctioning file has been opened.

The municipal resolution includes a clear warning: if another violation occurs, the closure of the establishment for the remainder of the Málaga Fair will be decreed. The Local Police will maintain their surveillance and control duties in the Real over the coming days to ensure compliance with the regulations.

This closure comes just one day after the first of this edition. On Wednesday, the City Council ordered the precautionary closure of Koloa, booth number 135, for violations in the delimitation of spaces and the arrangement of tables and chairs. In that case, the booth had received a prior warning to correct the irregularities but failed to do so within 24 hours.

Koloa was also closed during the Málaga Fair of 2025, although then the reason was to prevent free and unrestricted access to the public. With the closure of Colmao, this year's Fair now totals two precautionary closures, while municipal surveillance continues to ensure compliance with the Fair Ordinance.
