The Málaga City Council has presented the programme for the 2026 Fair, which will include nearly 200 free performances featuring artists such as Antonio Carmona, Diana Navarro, and Paloma San Basilio.
The Málaga Fair 2026 will feature nearly 200 musical and artistic performances with free entry, according to the programme presented this Wednesday by the city council. The lineup includes nationally renowned names such as Antonio Carmona, Diana Navarro, Zenet, Medina Azahara, David de María, Nancys Rubias, and Paloma San Basilio, who will perform at the Cortijo de Torres auditorium.
The councillor for Operational Services, Beaches, and Festivals, Teresa Porras, was responsible for announcing the programme, accompanied by several participating artists, including Encarni Navarro, Ana Romma, Hoffman, Tonia Rodríguez, and members of Medina Azahara.
According to the City Council, most of the artists are from Málaga, reflecting municipal support for local talent. In total, more than a thousand artists from different disciplines will participate on stages such as the Municipal Auditorium, the Flamenco and Copla Municipal Booth, the Children's Municipal Booth, the Verdiales Booth, the Popular Málaga Folklore Stage, the Equestrian Exhibition Centre, the Youth Esplanade, and several squares in the historic centre.
Among the highlighted events is the 30th edition of the Magic Fair, a cultural project dedicated to children and families that combines theatre, circus, magic, music, and workshops. It will feature two spaces: the children's municipal booth at the Real de Cortijo de Torres, with performances from Saturday 15 to Saturday 22 August at 21:30, and the Plaza de la Merced, where 'From the Earth to the Moon. 30th Anniversary' will take place from 12:00 to 15:30.

Flamenco will play a prominent role with daily performances at the Flamenco and Copla Municipal Booth and at the Peña Juan Breva, in addition to the VII Flamenco Dance Festival of Málaga Schools and the final of the XIX Spanish Song Contest Ciudad de Málaga. The Verdiales will have their own space at the Cortijo de Torres from 22:00 to 03:00 and on Calle Larios from 13:00 to 17:00.
The programme is completed with the Equestrian Exhibition Centre at the Real, which will offer daily shows at 16:00 and 22:00, and with the bullfighting fair at the La Malagueta Bullring, which will start at 19:00 with figures such as Morante de la Puebla, Diego Urdiales, Fortes, Emilio de Justo, Manuel Escribano, and Roca Rey. The latter will coincide with the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the venue, which will be commemorated on Saturday 22 August.
