The Business Circle of the Costa del Sol has initiated a collaborative relationship with Ceuta during a business and institutional day. The Ceuta Chamber of Commerce will visit Torremolinos and Málaga in the coming weeks.
The Business Circle of the Costa del Sol has opened a new avenue of collaboration with Ceuta following a business and institutional day in the autonomous city, as reported by Diario Sur. The delegation was led by Adolfo Trigueros, president of the Circle, and Antonio González, coordinator of the Health and Wellbeing Table.
Also participating in the meeting were Lourdes Porras, delegate of the Circle in Fuengirola; José Imbroda; Álvaro Morales; Carlos Serra; José Miguel Bascones; Galina Chiciuc and Werner Stenzig.
The agenda included a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce of Ceuta, presided over by Karim Bulaix, and members of its board of directors. The meeting served to understand the current reality of the city and analyse its business potential and opportunities for cooperation with Málaga and the Costa del Sol. As a symbol of the bond, the Circle presented the Chamber with a commemorative plaque.
The collaboration will continue in the coming weeks with a visit from representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Ceuta to the Costa del Sol. There, they will get to know the Circle's headquarters and hold meetings in Torremolinos, Málaga, and other locations in the province. The aim is to facilitate knowledge between both business communities, generate contacts, and foster future business opportunities.
The Circle has made its headquarters in Torremolinos available to Ceuta's business community as a meeting point for meetings, networking actions, and business contacts in Málaga and the Costa del Sol.
The day also had an institutional dimension with a working meeting with Kissy Chandiramani, second vice president and councillor of Finance, Economic Transition, and Digital Transformation, and Nicola Cecchi, councillor of Commerce, Tourism, Employment, and Sport of the Autonomous City of Ceuta. The meeting addressed the current situation of the city, its future prospects, and the possibilities of strengthening business, tourism, and institutional relations.
A first meeting also took place with Arancha Campos, president of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Ceuta, who left open the possibility of holding a broader working meeting soon.
The upcoming visit of the Chamber of Commerce of Ceuta to Málaga and the Costa del Sol will be the next step in a relationship that aspires to translate into reciprocal visits, business meetings, networking actions, and joint projects. For the Circle, the Strait should act as a bridge of collaboration between two nearby territories, with shared interests and opportunities in areas such as tourism, services, trade, and business cooperation.
