The Local Government Board of Mijas has given the green light to a public job offer for stabilisation with nearly 380 positions, adapted to the latest jurisprudence. The bases will be published shortly in the official bulletins.
The Town Hall of Mijas approved this Monday in its Local Government Board the public job offer for stabilisation, a package of around 380 job positions aimed at reducing temporary employment in the local administration. This measure is framed within the Law 20/2021, concerning urgent measures for the reduction of temporary employment in the public sector.
The delegated councillor for Human Resources, Silvia Marín, explained that the processing began in 2022 with the participation of social agents and that, since 2024, variations have been incorporated to adapt the offer to the judicial resolutions that arose during the process. The call will include the most recent jurisprudence, resulting from a procedure with numerous interventions from the courts.
Following the approval from the Local Government Board, the Human Resources Delegation will proceed to execute the offer by approving new bases and the official call. Interested parties will be able to submit their applications once the bases are published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Málaga (BOP), the Official Bulletin of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA), and the Official State Bulletin (BOE).
The information regarding the approval will also be published immediately on the Transparency Portal of the council. Details about the requirements and the registration process will be disclosed when the bases are published, which is expected in the coming weeks.
In the same session, the Local Government Board approved the call for awards for sporting excellence under a competitive basis, in accordance with the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Town Hall of Mijas. The bases to apply for these awards will be published in the coming weeks.
