The personal mobility vehicles circulating in Manilva now have their own municipal regulations as of this Tuesday, September 15. That day, the regulatory ordinance for the circulation and use of these vehicles, published on Monday, September 14, comes into effect.
The Town Hall of Manilva has approved the regulation in the exercise of its competencies in traffic, parking, and mobility. The text orders the circulation of electric scooters in urban areas with criteria for road safety, coexistence, and sustainability.
The council justifies the regulation due to the increase in the presence of these vehicles on public roads and the need to establish a clear and systematic municipal framework, compatible with state traffic, circulation, and road safety regulations.
The ordinance also addresses the coexistence of scooters with pedestrians, bicycles, and other vehicles sharing the streets of the municipality.
