The Manilva Town Hall has delivered the outfits that the children's and youth courts will wear at the August Fair 2026. The garments have been made by the local company La Costurera.
The Plenary Hall of the Manilva Town Hall has recently hosted the delivery of the outfits that the members of the children's and youth courts will wear during the August Fair 2026. The mayor, Mario Jiménez, the Councillor for Fiestas, Rogelio Pascual, and councillors Laura Salazar, Agustín Vargas, and Gema Zotano welcomed the young people at the event.
Once again, the making of the garments has been entrusted to the local company La Costurera, responsible for creating the flamenco dresses and the jacket outfits that both courts will wear. The children and youth will wear an elegant flamenco dress with a manila shawl, while the mister contestants will debut their respective jacket outfits.
This event marks the beginning of the preparations for the August Fair, which will officially kick off with the crowning of the queens, ladies, and misters, both children and youth, on Wednesday, August 5 at 10:30 PM in the municipal tent. It will be at this time that the mayor, the Councillor for Fiestas, and the announcer Elisa Luque Pascual will signal the start of an edition that is eagerly anticipated in the town.
The delivery of the outfits represents another step in the countdown to one of the most awaited events on Manilva's festive calendar, which every summer brings together locals and visitors around its municipal tent and a programme of events that combines tradition and community.
